Our new ministry, Club Aslan, provides a fun, safe and loving environment for the at-risk youth in our community. Membership is free, but it comes with responsibility. Every day, we recite the Aslan Pledge with our young members. Our hope is that this promise will take root in their spirits and become part of their everyday way of life.
I [name], as a member of Aslan, promise to treat others with respect and kindness, make new friends, welcome everyone, make new memories and have a positive attitude in everything I do. I will be responsible for my actions, try new things, care for the resources provided to me, respect those who represent authority and do my best to obey the laws and customs of my community. I will contribute to my nation, community and family, always acting in righteousness. I will do what is right in the eyes of God.
