Team Solheim Announces Herlin Karina Escobar as New Volunteer Coordinator

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Herlin Karina Escobar as our new Volunteer Coordinator!

Karina is no stranger to our community; she has faithfully volunteered with us for several years, bringing incredible dedication, a heart of service and a deep desire to seek the Lord in all she does. Moving across the country to step into this full-time role, she brings a deep, unwavering faith and a wealth of passion for education, psychology and people.

Looking Ahead: Growth in Number and Spirit

As we look to the future, our volunteer program is stepping into a season of expansive growth—both in the number of hands joining the work and in deeper spiritual roots. Karina’s role will be pivotal in building, mobilizing and sustaining a thriving, Christ-centered community of volunteers.

• Expanding Our Reach: Karina will focus on recruiting, onboarding and maintaining an active network of volunteers to ensure all major ministry events and weekly programs are fully staffed with excellence.

• Deepening Spiritual Discipleship: Beyond logistics, Karina is committed to adopting a Jesus-centered leadership approach, discipling volunteers and fostering a culture of ownership where everyone is deployed according to their unique spiritual gifts.

• Investing in Long-Term Mentoring: Part of her vision includes the intentional, long-term mentoring of individuals through the Link program, helping raise up the next generation of servant-leaders.

• Empowering Growth and Retention: Through high-quality annual workshops, consistent appreciation and relationship-focused care, she aims to maintain a strong, thriving community where volunteers feel valued, equipped and supported.

We could not be more excited about this next chapter and the incredible things God is going to do through Karina's leadership, prayer and the hearts of our growing volunteer family.
