Honduras Field Journal Day 2
Friday, October 2, 2026
Thank you for praying. Sorry that Thursday's message didn't get sent till today. But your prayers are working. We had an excellent day connecting with the Team Solheim volunteer team.
Our day started with a walk through the neighborhood. The Solheims live in a unique neighborhood where there are dinosaurs you can climb on. The team enjoyed the walk including seeing a land crab.
We then headed to Abide. This is a property outside of La Esperanza that Enoch and Cindy are building a bi-lingual school. Steve and Kelly are assisting them in the work to get the place ready. They are hoping to have the place approved by February. The team spent time walking the property and praying over it. We then headed back to the Solheims' house to host the volunteers for a seminar. The seminar was attended well and everyone enjoyed the craft, games, and the talk.
The evening was spent playing lots of games. We discovered Dasha has crazy luck in games, and Soren has terrible luck.
Saturday prayer:
Morning we will be building a 9 square in the air
Afternoon we will be running Club Aslan
Evening will be hanging out with some of the volunteers
