Kelly: Are you ready to go?
Steve: Almostā¦I just need to find my keys.
Kelly: Have you looked in the pants you were wearing yesterday?
Steve: Yes! I looked in all of my pockets, around the bed, the nightstand, the side table by the couch, and every other possible flat surface that I could have dropped my keys. I even looked in the couch and they are nowhere to be found.
Kelly: How aboutā¦
Steve: Iām going to go look in the truck and see if I left them in there.
Kelly: They wonāt be thereā¦you needed them to open the door to get into the house.
Steve: Well, I canāt think of anywhere else, so that ās the next place Iām going to look.
I looked in the console, the seat, the floor, on the ground outside the truck and nothing. Then, I opened the back door and started looking behind and under the seat. And thatās when I noticed something very odd. No, it wasnāt my keys, but the bolt that holds my seatbelt to the frame was looseā¦very loose!
Had I not lost my keys, I would not have spotted a very dangerous situation. I was in shock. Never have I been grateful for losing something so vital! I thank God for everyone that has been praying for us and our safety on the mission field. I thank God that YOU pray for us.
Thank you!
P.S. I did eventually find my keys under the couch where Kelly and I had already searched multiple times.
